About Us

On December 12th, 1981, a wedding that would change the lives of two very important people was held. It was small, simple, beautiful, and filled with love. The two individuals became one and have lived their lives in holly matrimony since that day. After years of blissful adventure, the two decided to settle down and start a family.

Five children, many animals, and one successful business later, they decided another quest was on their hearts - a wedding venue.

Jerry and Karen Garrison converted their home into the perfect wedding and event center. Their dream is support others as newlyweds embark on their own journey.

The Vision

In English history, the name Salisbury translates to fortress. It generates from a fort that stood at Old Sarum in Wiltshire, South West England. Salisbury, North Carolina was born in 1755 and was a known as a temporary headquarters for troops. The name Garrison translates to protection, stronghold, or fort.

Psalm 91:2 says, “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”  

The Garrison, located in Salisbury, North Carolina, is rooted in its historic meaning. Our dream is that this place will act as a stronghold for weddings and celebrations for generations to come.

There is no better way to celebrate a life together than creating a space for others to celebrate theirs.
